Waley Wang is a director living in Brooklyn, NY. He loves to tell stories and visual poems through stylized & poppy aesthetics with a heart, and has a fascination with youthful but wise dreamscapes, dark drama, absurd comedy, high concept genres, and all things fun & ethereal. He also loves grounded concepts that highlight places & spaces, and loves to marry these two general styles. He has worked with a wide variety of artists and clients, incuding Phoebe Bridgers, Iberia Airlines, Radiohead’s longtime creative director Dilly Gent, Crowd Lu 盧廣仲, The Black Skirts 검정치마, Ark Patrol, Sony Music Entertainment Taiwan, and ANTI- Records. In his free time, he likes to read AAPI literature, hang out with cats, and search for the elusive and uncaptured experiences & humanity of Asian Americans, young Millennials, and old Gen Zs.
